How small Asian businesses can dominate the new Gen-Z community

BY: ALINA AHAMED

Micro, small, and medium-sized businesses remain as some of the hardest-hit enterprises worldwide due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Such businesses will need additional funding and support to get back on their feet in the coming months or even years, depending on the future of the global economy.

While multiple struggling businesses have garnered attention during the pandemic, many small businesses don't receive the same amount of publicity as others. In this article, I will be sharing a few small Asian businesses and initiatives that you should check out.

Welcome to ChinaTown

Welcome to Chinatown is a grassroots initiative that supports Chinatown businesses who have suffered during the pandemic; they are also fighting xenophobia towards Asians at a local level. Welcome to Chinatown serves as a gratuitous voice to produce much-needed momentum for one of New York City's most vibrant Asian communities; they also offer aid to those who need to start a new income stream throughout this unprecedented time.
